Our Itzenplitz H has found his new home.

With him, we are losing not only an exceptional horse, but also a piece of Horstfelde history.

We are grateful for the time we spent together, the many wonderful moments, and the successes he gave us.

Now we are happy that he has found people who will appreciate and love him as much as we do.

A farewell full of gratitude and with the knowledge that a wonderful future awaits him. We are excited about his continued sporting career and are very happy for his new owners.

At this year's summer festival with the traditional foal christening at the beginning of July, breeding and offspring were the focus at our stud farm. Five foals received their names in a celebratory setting – including the reserve champion foal Ennio H by Escamillo–First Choice, who had already impressed with fantastic scores at the Bonhomme Foal Championship and raised great hopes for the future. The event impressively combined tradition and modernity and gave our stud farm the opportunity to present its latest breeding successes to an interested audience.

For over 30 years, our heart has been in horse breeding – and "Gestüt Horstfelde GmbH" now looks back on three decades of passion and continuous development. The company was officially registered in the Potsdam Commercial Register in 1995, but its roots go back even further: Helga and Manfred Semmer founded the stud farm on the site of a former LPG facility – with a few Brandenburg horses and a great deal of pioneering spirit.

On July 4th, the Horstfelde Stud presented this year's foals at the foal show at the Bonhomme Stud and achieved impressive success:

Filippa H presented her first foal, Baltasar H (by Bon Bolero Old) – he was also the youngest foal at the show. With an excellent score of 8.8 for movement, Baltasar H secured the title of "Premium Foal." Furthermore, Filippa H was awarded the State Premium Mare candidate status at the stud book registration.

Successful Show Season – Most recently at the show in Ruhlsdorf 

The Horstfelde Stud is already looking back on a successful show season: In the past few months, our riders have competed at numerous shows (Blankenfelde, Liepe, Wahlitz, Königsborn, and others) and have always returned home with placings and victories.

Most recently, exciting competitions took place at the show in Ruhlsdorf (Hof Bernadotte). We were pleased to have been strongly represented again.

Our Mirjam H started on March 21, 2025 at the indoor championship at Eichenhof, Tremsdorf with Alexander Tichatschke:

1. place show jumping class M* 125cm young riders
3. place show jumping class S* 140cm with playoff
3. place show jumping class M* 120cm

A few days earlier, they shone together at the Jünsdorf 2025 horse show:

For the new year 2025, we wish all horse lovers and their animals above all health, success and satisfaction! We are starting into the future with confidence and lots of ideas.  The team is strengthened. We welcome Nanette Bölter and Julia Sophie Müller to our ranks, and Jessie Luther as a frequent and welcome guest. Take a look, interesting horses for sale are hidden in our stables. The training of the horses continues in the winter. Our Mirjam H was already able to place in an M-level competition with increasing demands in a high and strong starting field in Prussendorf....

At this year's Federal Championships in Warendorf, our Itzenplitz H with Alexander Tichatschke in the saddle made it to the final in the show jumping M for five-year-olds (Photo: Björn Schröder, 2024). 
This makes him one of the best 40 five-year-old show jumpers in Germany.  We are proud of this breeding and competition result, because for the first time in our studfarm history we were able to present a specially bred horse ourselves in Warendorf. 
In principle, we also offer space for guests in our studfarm. Interested parties are asked to register early.
